Images convey powerful messages in different ways to many people awakening a wide range of emotions.

Study at Arts University Bournemouth Academy has enhanced my technical understanding and, most importantly, led me into a more creative approach to producing photographic images.

Originally trained as a Structural Engineer working alongside Architects and other creative professionals has helped develop my attention to detail, which in turn informs my image-making.

In my photography, I seek to explore light, colour, shape, pattern and form, alongside the extremes of expansive images and fine detail.

My photography has evolved towards exploring the movement of people and objects, most notably by enhancing motion. It is achieved through movement of the subject, the camera, within the lens or a combination of these techniques.

It frequently results in abstract or undefined shapes in the final images.
